Senior Care for Veterans Program

Pride In Caring Senior Care is a strong advocate for seniors that have served in the military.  The Veterans Administration has a program that can reimburse veterans for elderly home care based on certain qualification criteria.

  • Veterans must have served 1 day during an active war and had no less than a 90 day service.
  • You must have received an honorable or general discharge.
  • Surviving spouses must have been married to the veteran when they have become deceased.
  • You must have a doctor's order stating that you need the aid and attendance of another person daily.
  • You must have less than 80K in checking and savings,CD or IRA and less if you are applying as a single (Not including home and auto)
  • You may not qualify if you are on Medicaid, state assistance or another subsidized program due to your low income.
