Senior Care for Veterans Program

Pride In Caring Senior Care is a strong advocate for seniors that have served in the military. The Veterans Administration has a program that can reimburse veterans for elderly home care based on certain qualification criteria.

Veterans must have served 1 day during an active war and had no less than a 90 day service.
You must have received an honorable or general discharge.
Surviving spouses must have been married to the veteran when they have become deceased.
You must have a doctor's order stating that you need the aid and attendance of another person daily.
You must have less than 80K in checking and savings,CD or IRA and less if you are applying as a single (Not including home and auto)
You may not qualify if you are on Medicaid, state assistance or another subsidized program due to your low income.
